The Macy's did not say how many watts they can handle. Check your hair dryer and curling iron and see how many watts they use then be sure to find one that is responsible for so much power to a minimum. The JC Penney is rated at 1600 watts, which should be sufficient.
Be the first to work with hand dryers, but the last thing they want is your flat iron or curling fry the converter on first use.
